Partner Network
AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP partners with approximately 180 nonprofit organizations across the five boroughs to engage adults age 55+ in meaningful service that meets critical community needs and improves lives.
AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP Partnerships
AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP connects adults aged 55 and over with meaningful volunteer opportunities in their communities that match their skills, interests, and availability.
Volunteers serve in partner organizations throughout NYC including soup kitchens and food pantries, hospitals and health care facilities, educational settings, community-based organizations, cultural institutions, and more. Some serve in person, while others serve remotely.
RSVP volunteers play a vital role in expanding our capacity to serve the community. Their dedication, experience, and time allow us to reach more people and deliver programs that would not be possible otherwise. They have made a meaningful impact on our programs and the families we serve. With RSVP volunteers helping organize activities and supporting our events, families are able to relax, connect with their community, and create lasting memories. We are so grateful for the support!
AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers play a vital role in advancing our mission of providing at-risk youth with the opportunities they need to thrive. A key part of our work is serving the broader community and supporting the families of the youth we work with. Volunteers are essential to this effort, particularly in our community food programs. They help organize and distribute food, welcome families, and ensure our services are delivered with dignity and care. Their time and commitment allow us to reach more families in need while strengthening the sense of community that is central to our mission.
Community Service Society’s RSVP AmeriCorps Senior program has been an invaluable partner to my organization, Animal Care Centers of NYC. Beyond connecting us with dedicated older adult volunteers who make a meaningful impact in service to our animals, they have also helped foster relationships for us with other community organizations, creating opportunities to share resources, strengthen services, and better support the people we serve together in NYC.
