Volunteer Grant Research Assistant Information Session
Attend training to become a Volunteer Grant Research Specialists and help small Staten Island nonprofit organizations and food pantries secure the funding they need to serve others. No grant-writing experience is required. We will provide training on a user-friendly grant research software platform and teach you the skills needed to identify funding opportunities that match an organization's mission and programs. What You'll Do: Help nonprofit organizations and food pantries think strategically about their programs, future goals and funding needs; research grant opportunities that align with their needs using a specialized grant research software CANDID (training provided); and help organizations with application process. Flexible days and hours. Volunteers are matched with a cause/organization they care about. Training is in-person at The Staten Island Foundation. Registration is required.
